Oh Cristal, I am so sorry! Hopefully that will be the last hurdle you have to jump. Sometimes I think the approval process is the hardest part. Keep me informed. I go for pre-op appointment on May 19th and have approval letter from insurance for June 18 with up to 5 days hospital stay (and sure hope it is not that long) so I should go as planned. Bad thing is, I keep eating like I won't have a meal tomorrow, and am gaining some weight. Hope Dr. Nelson is understanding, especially for when we go on our cruise!

Darn, I almost said something, but decided not too, that was my 4th visit with Abby and since I'm a revision we ended up talking more than anything so I hope you were not waiting too long on me. Before I came over to Abby's I made sure I got my pre-op appointment and tentative surgery date. My pre-op is May 19th and possible surgery date is June 18th. They still have to submit to Blue Cross one more time, but it will be directly to the approving physician so they don't expect any issues. We had booked a Alaskan cruise along time ago, before I had found out my band had slipped, so I will have to wait till we get back to do my diet. Good luck on your approval. I saw the psychologist Dr. Nelson uses and really liked her, she was nothing like the one I saw before my first surgery. That was the most painful appointment I had LOL because it was like he was trying to make me mad and get me to say specific words. Let me know when you find out anything. I plan to go back to a Thursday night class, the only one I went to was in January.

I see Abby on April 25th too at 9:00 so maybe we will "bump" into each other. Without any fluid in my band I am really struggling and need to loose a few pounds before I see her. They did not want to see me gain any weight. Good luck with the insurance approval. My band slippage was found in December and even though this is a revision it took a long time.

Hi Cristal, I am hoping for a June surgery date with Dr. Nelson. I just got insurance approval for revision of a slipped lap band (2nd time). Dr. Nelson was not my original surgeon.
