As many of you have posted, it takes a long time for us to see the change in ourselves. I have noticed the changes. I've admired the inches melting away, my clothes size changing and the pounds on the scale dropping. This week though is the first time I've really noticed the change in my photos. I've tried before and I've thought I looked good, but I still was very critical. This time, I just cannot be.
I met up with my HS BFF whom I've known since we were 12 for the first

I just had to share. I did it! I climbed the Manitou Incline this morning. This was my goal to complete by the end of the summer, but I had to move my timetable up as they will be closing it for repairs in August. To put some stats on the Incline it is only 1 mile long, but it rises 2000 ft in elevation over the course of that mile. The Incline base used to be a cable car that went up the side of Pikes Peak. Some Olympic Athletes can climb this in 20 minutes.

This week before Independence Day has been a little up and a little down and I thought I would share. First, let me say I love my sleeve, but I've hit the point where every pound off is a major struggle and I feel like I'm dieting all over again. This is frustrating to say the least.
On Monday I started the 5 day pouch test. This was mostly to break my carb snacking. That first day of all liquids was hard, but I got through it until Day 4 with no real problems. What really caused

Hi all!
I just got back from a business trip to NYC. I was concerned about eating right while there, though I wasn't too worried about not getting my exercise in. Everything worked out well! I averaged 12,0000+ steps a day and even got to run in Central Park. I was able to skip the breakfasts provided at the conference most mornings as pastries and fruit featured prominently with nary a bit of protein in sight. There was a lovely little bodega a block away where I could get bacon

Hi everyone!
Our daughter is home from college for Spring Break, so we had a Mommy/daughter day today. We went to this lovely, eclectic tea house I love for lunch and tea. I usually can eat about 1/4 to 1/3 of a sandwich and have a pot of tea (20 oz) over a two hour period. I don't know what was wrong today, but I barely had 1/8 of my sandwich and it took at least two hours to get my tea down. Unusual, but okay.
We followed up by shopping for a few things. I needed
