Well my journey has hit a snag I saw the psychologist on 4/25 and she said she was clearing me but now I got a phone call saying she wants a followup visit with me before she clears me. I don't see her until May 23rd makes no sense at all but what can you do. Just want to get my surgery date and get this journey started!

Darn, I almost said something, but decided not too, that was my 4th visit with Abby and since I'm a revision we ended up talking more than anything so I hope you were not waiting too long on me. Before I came over to Abby's I made sure I got my pre-op appointment and tentative surgery date. My pre-op is May 19th and possible surgery date is June 18th. They still have to submit to Blue Cross one more time, but it will be directly to the approving physician so they don't expect any issues. We had booked a Alaskan cruise along time ago, before I had found out my band had slipped, so I will have to wait till we get back to do my diet. Good luck on your approval. I saw the psychologist Dr. Nelson uses and really liked her, she was nothing like the one I saw before my first surgery. That was the most painful appointment I had LOL because it was like he was trying to make me mad and get me to say specific words. Let me know when you find out anything. I plan to go back to a Thursday night class, the only one I went to was in January.

Hey Sharon! I couldn't remember your first name but you saw the Nutritionist right before me I was there in the blue shirt when you checked in and came out. Today was my last set of appointments. I have to get a letter of approval from my psychiatrist then they will submit for insurance approval. Looks like my surgery will probably be June to.

Hi! I was actually hoping for a May date but it may just be wishful thinking. I have my last nutritionist appointment on April 25th and then they said they would submit it to my insurance for approval but it sounds like our dates will probably be close. Good luck to you!

Welcome to my page, I just received insurance approval to have lap band revised to a sleeve due to complications with lap band. I am considered a low BMI because of my previous weight loss with the lap band. I hope to have surgery mid-June.
