Home from surgery, most went well. Since I had previous the band I had to stay two nights at the clinic. I was not thrilled with that. It certainly was an experience. Be aware at all times the drugs they are giving you....not only what they say but what you are taking. I asked for a nauseous medication and I was givin a sleeping pill and also a pain pill. I looked up on internet what the label on tablet said to find out is was wrong. the language barrier is difficult. I got home last night and I am going to my primary doctor today to make sure I have proper post op medications.

Oh good, I am glad you are doing well. What the heck about a midnight hour surgery. That makes me a bit nervous. Did you get your own room or rooming with someone? Make sure you look for me tomorrow or Saturday keep me posted on any advice you may have!

Well, all is good so far. Yesterday was chaotic and they ended up doing me and two other girls that were schedule for today. I feel good so far. Had my surgery at midnight. out at 1am. Advice...walk a ton~when you feel gas..raise arms above head and try to burp=throat burp. I have not experience any nausea so far...but I have not had any more pain killers since hour before the surgery. I don't like the side effects of pain killers! Doctors, nurses, workers...all really nice and helpful! You will do fine

Good Luck to you! Pre-op diet has been pretty simple. I was to do 3 days as well, but I decided to do 5. From what I have read....all of the days vary according to the doctors. Some only 24 hours. I sure hope I feel OK on the 10th! Seems as though it could be the roughest day. See you there and safe travels!!
