About denahall0218
- Sleeved or not sleeved:
- I have had a gastric sleeve.
- Biography:
- Planning sleeve with Dr. Almaraz on January 31, 2013. I'm 63 years old and have had thyroid problems and just can't get the weight off I have gained the past 9 years. Life changed 9 years ago when my Mother broke her hip and my Grandson was born. My mother needed a Caregiver in May 2004 after she broke her hip, and my Daughter had a baby June 2004, one month after Mom broker hip. I cared for both she and Andrew. It was difficult seeing my Mom ill but she enjoyed Andrew and we were there until he was 3 years old. She has passed since then and is now 9 years old. In that time my just staying home changed my life.. began gaining weight omg and just cant get it off. Well decided to get the Gastric Sleeve and am having this done in Tijuana on January 31, with Dr. Alamanza. I am very excited.
I have had to stay home with Andrew, he has one kidney and I take care of him. We have been blessed he is in good health today and I'm just about 60 pounds heavier. This was a challenge for me, but it was worth it. Now I'm doing something for me. I have taken diet pills, and I am on Synthroid. The Diet pills don't work anymore and the Synthroid is up to 132 gm and my weight is going up... Well its time to get this weight off. I'm sick of being heavy.

I do feel the same way as you sometimes, but then I move to eating more often and then it goes away. I get those packets of tuna that are flavored and are 100 calories and I just open it up and get a fork. That leaves me feeling stuffed.
