Hi all,

Haven't been on for a while and thought I would update you on my progress. I had my surgery on Dec. 17, 2013 and as of this morning, I have reached 45 lbs lost. This is almost my halfway mark! I am so happy that I had this sleeve done!
The thing I haven't talked about however, is that the day after surgery (while I was in the Hospital), my father was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. He lives 800 miles from me. In 2 weeks I am going to visit and he has not

Had my one week post-op visit today and I am feeling fantastic, down 15.5 lbs, and going back to work on December 30th. More important than any of that though, I WORE A PAIR OF JEANS TO THE APPOINTMENT I COULD NOT EVEN LAY ON THE BED AND ZIP FOR THE LAST 8 MONTHS!

YAY ME!

Surgery went well, had a hiatal hernia that I didn't know about so they also fixed that. Kinda sore but very manageable. Starting to hate this clear liquid diet. Ready for some other flavors....ok..one more day of this crap and then runny mashed potatoes and oatmeal here I come!
