6 week Post-op with Dr.

by Max's Mom on 02-05-2014 at 03:50 PM
Despite the ice we got last night, along with the snow we got early Monday morning...I made it to my NUT appt and Dr. appt this morning. The kids didn't have school today because of the ice but my daughter stayed at my MIL's. So that worked out great.
Talked to my NUT and told her I was just so tired. I have energy to do stuff one day and then the next day I'm wiped out. She ask me about how much protein I was getting, which is usually around the high 40 to low 50 sometimes 60 grams. And

I'm walking around to get rid of this gas. That's really the only pain I have had. I just get up and walk around that usually burp a couple of times.
I lost 4 lbs. the second week

7 Days and counting...

by Max's Mom on 12-16-2013 at 05:31 PM
I have 7 more days until my surgery and I am both excited and feeling a bit anxious. I will be staying busy this last week so that will help. I had my preadmission testing last week and the post surgery education class at the Bariatric Center. So that is my last meeting with the center until after my surgery.
I also went to our Sleep Center to get my results of an in-home sleep study that I did about a week in a half ago and found out I do have sleep apnea. Hopefully I will get my machine
