About Lapound
- Sleeved or not sleeved:
- I have had a gastric sleeve.
- Biography:
- 58 yr old woman who needs to lose 75 lbs and get my BP and cholesterol levels to a normal range. Ending a 20 yr marriage because I "let myself go". I hope the sleeve will help me with my food obsession and eating when I'm not hungry. I do exercise but get disappointed during the times I watch what I eat and work out, with no results. I really need help to get back on track. I haven't always been obese but needed to lose weight throughout most my life. I'm hoping Pavlo's theory kicks in after the sleeve.

I am moving jan 28, surgery scheduled jan 14. I assume I'll be fine putting things away, making a bed, etc as long as I'm not moving heavy boxes. What is reasonable timeframe to expect being able to be back to normal

Surgery scheduled this Tuesday, that's two days away. I'm not concerned about the actual surgery because I really trust my doctor. I'm concerned about the other unknowns such as my BP and/ or cholesterol not going down, my hair falling out ( but I understand it does grow back), ongoing nausea, and how soon I will feel back to normal. Reading the posts verifies everyone is different so I guess I have to wing it. Bottom line is I will be eating less for the rest of my life, which is a good thing.
