thanks Nasher6 I am really getting excited and a bit scared more of the unknown these forums have been a god send I have read some really great stuff and some not so good but all in all it has made me more prepared than not having access to this. I just wasn't to be recovering and have it all over I am going to Perth and my family have to stay in the north so they wont be there so its going to be a tad daunting on my own for the hospital part.
all in all I have some good books so hopefully the few days there will go quickly.
thanks for your comment I hope to blog away my ordeal lol

Yay thanks for the reply. It seems so long ago not that I sometimes forget that I even had the operation..LoL. Am feeling really good about my weight and in October last year I had a boob job in Bangkok. They look really lovely and natural and no pain or scaring so I am a happy girl. I would like to get down to 60kg but at 63 wont mind if I do not lose any more weight. Let me know if there is anything you would like to ask me. xxxcoralxxx

Hi there Nasher6. I have just got back from being overseas for cosmetic surgery so have only now got time to catch up with emails and messages. I just wanted to wish you good luck with your surgery. Dr. Armstrong is a great doctor. I have been extremely happy with the results of my sleeve. It is a bit tough at first dealing with food but this forum is a great pleace to get info from. xxxcoralxxx

I am so excited!
My sleeve journey started in November last year, my loss has been quite steady and amazing. Both my surgeon and dietician are so happy with my progress, both of whom believe that I am where I should be. I have gone from a size 22 to 14/12 and am ecstatic.
On the back of my success my husband, a Chef who has always been overweight, decided to join me and had the sleeve yesterday!!
He decided that we want to spend a long and healthy life together and realised

Busting to get to double digits!

by nasher6 on 01-19-2014 at 10:36 PM
My goal of double digits - less than 100Kgs - is in my sights and I am so excited. My son is getting married on Friday and one of my goals has been to make it by then, even if it is only by 100g.
Finally have my outfit arranged and I feel terrific.
Next goal is to get down to 90 kgs. No time frame for that - just another milestone to achieve.
Thanks to all fellow sleevers that continue to give support to me and each other.

Race on to double digits!

by nasher6 on 12-03-2013 at 08:54 PM
So excited I have to keep looking in the mirror to believe it. My family are so happy for me and my smile is a mile wide. I actually broke into a jog when I was doing my morning walk today. That hasn't happened for years.
Having to really try hard to get enough fluid in, but at least that is not as hard as monitoring every single calorie.
For those that are not sure about doing this - go for it!!!!
