Hi Linda. Yes I too struggle with soft foods. Usually an ounce and i get this very heavy/dense feeling in my chest, like right between my boobs. Almost makes it hard to breathe! I really thought by now things would be going down a bit easier. Did you have a hernia repair? How many calories a day do you get in? I usually get 300-500, i really do try to get more, but my intake is so low, its impossible! I do get very tired still. I think its because I don't get enough calories. I take my b12 and multi as well (love my b12 - its dissolvable and a yummy cherry flavor!). Have you had any follow up visits with your surgeon and mentioned this? I had my surgery in MX, but have a follow up with a local surgeon Tuesday next week and will definitely be asking about these issues.

Hello. my surgery was on 1/4/14. So we are close in our stages. I'm having trouble with the semi soft foods. are you eating that stuff yet? It sits heavy on my chest. i need to get some carbs in i think..because I'm simply tired all the time. I'm taking my b12 and multi vit. are you tired still? Thanks for any info you can share.
