So it's been 8 days since my surgery. I went to the doctor not expecting too much because I know there's swelling or whatever plus I try to read everyone else's journey to see what to expect. But guess what? I lost 12lbs since last week! Freaking amazing my body is feel very close to normal and I will resume my walking regimen. I feel good right now i must admit. I am officially over 30lbs down since starting this journey in August.

So it's been a full day since surgery. Yesterday was pretty tough constant sleep and dry heaving is what i remember. But now that seems to be under control. I drunk my 24 ounces even though it took me half the day and I was released to come home. So I'm now in my own bed left to figure it out. The one thought that keeps going through my mind is "OMG I cut out most of my stomach" I don't have regrets, I'm just in shock.

So it's the eve of my surgery and I feel...nothing. Weird right? No nerves, no excitement and no jitters. I guess when I get to the hospital it will be real, until then......

So The CPAP machine came yesterday and las night was my first real sleep with it. Here's the thing, I expected to wake up so well rested but that didn't exactly happen. I woke up a few times I guess because I'm still not used to it, let's see if it gets better.

So I signed my consent forms yesterday, the only thing I'm waiting for now is my arrival time.

Still feel nothing, cool as a cucumber. Is this normal?
