Well - I have lost 96 lbs and do not regret having this surgery at all. I am so much more active and healthy. I am kind of sad that things have slowed down so much for me now but I know it will pick up if I start exercising more and continue to eat right. I will be 59 years old this year and had thought I was too old. I was always coming up with excuses to not do this and stay where I was. I'm so glad that I did this though and didn't listen to the excuses.

I was just wondering if anyone else on here is from Northeast Ohio? I'm near the Youngstown/Warren area.

Hello. I am now one month from my gastric sleeve and feeling absolutely awesome. I haven't had any complications. I'm now eating soft foods and tolerating them very well. I'm on my treadmill about 10/15 minutes in the morning and then again at night. I've lost 25 lbs. since surgery and a total of 41 since my journey started. I'm now starting to see it and feel it and it's such a good feeling. My friends and family are also noticing. I still have a long journey but this is a wonderful start.
