    Hi. I have the band for 9 years and have gained and lost for years. I am a compulsive eater and 57 years old. I'm scared to do this but living with obesity is not an option. How are you feeling with the obsessive food thoughts. Thank you

I had the lap band for 8 years and in those 8 years i still had the obsessive compulsive dieter problem. I have been to OA- OA HOW for over 20 years and thought the band was going to be the answer to my thoughts and feelings and reasons why i ate. In all, I slimed almost every day of those 8 years, and still had those feelings of being addicted to sugar and food and hating myself.

The last straw was seeing that I was 30 pounds heavier than i ever had been before the lap band.

it's been 22 days!!

I've had the lap band for 8 years with horrible results. I slimed almost everyday . In 8 years I had only lost 20 pounds until this year, when i put an additional 30! The band is a disaster. I 've have no saline in for 7 years and it still doesn't work. there are times that my husband thought i was going to choke to death. When I found out about how reasonable Dr. Mario is, I talked with the agents, as well as patients and decided to make a decision right away to have it done.
