Slow and Steady but some NSVs!

So I am losing slow and steady as compared to others. Fine with me because my journey is a competition with myself and no one else. Everyday to do more, be positive, eat well. My weight didn't come on overnight and it won't come off like that either. I actually joined a gym Monday-never thought I'd see the day. Anyway I have lost (and can see the difference) in the past month and a half since I began pre op but I am noticing NSVs everywhere! Doing the laundry last night I noticed my calfs
What I never read and tips for surgery

Well I was sleeved on Dec 2nd. To be honest that first day or two I felt like mechanically separated chicken! I was told I may have a hernia before surgery. No testing of any kind was done but it was suggested I had one because of my use of Nexium for acid reflux that I had been taken over the past years since my weight had skyrocketed. When I came to I was incredibly nauseous, of course unable to drink (TIP 1: peppermint curbs nauseous feelings so pick up some chapstick that is peppermint flavored.

Am I the only one who cheated on the 2 week pre op? I just had a small sandwich tonight, but it's only day 3 and I already fell to temptation.
My Last Supper

So I start my pre-op diet tomorrow. I have my supplies and everything at the ready. Today however I have eaten like a pig! My mother made my favorite meal, I ate soup and even a piece of cake. I don't even like or crave most of the things I have eaten today....I am just doing it because I know I can't anymore! With willpower like that this will be harder than I expected. I think the first day or two will be hard until I get a rhythm going and then I'll be fine. Here's to 2 weeks till surgery
Preparing for the unknown

I don't have surgery until Dec. 2, liquid diet starts the 18th of this month so I am beginning to prepare. For my birthday my mother bought me a Ninja Mega, does everything but also makes single sized servings so I am excited. I have been researching protein and doing some cost analysis. I ordered Unjury today, 6 cans of various flavors and some Opurity vitamins designed for people who have sleeve or bypass. It's too early to start cleaning the house and preparing my nest since I have a teenager
