I went yesterday and had what my company calls a health assessment. It's kind of like a physical but not as indepth. Anyway, I am please to share my good news. All of my blood work came back great. They checked cholesterol levels, LDL, HDL, and triglycerides. Everything is in the normal range. They also do a body composition thing. Last year my body fat percentage was 54%, this year it is 21%. My Viseral fat is at 6%, which according to the test it should be under 9%, so far so good. Then comes

It has been a while since I have been on here. I just wanted to give an update on how things are going. As of December 24 I am 8 months out. I have lost about 124 pounds since starting on here. I have lost 105 since my surgery. I have gone from a size 24 pants, 3x shirt to a size 10/12 pants and a large shirt. I am so full of energy now, I can play with my grandkids without getting winded. I am 21 weeks out from surgery and I am finally in onederland!!! I weighed in this morning and I am down to 195lbs. I have lost 125lbs from my highest weight and 78lbs since my surgery. I am super excited!!! I can't remember the last time I was in the 100's. It has been a great journey so far. I am so hopeful for my future. Things are looking up everyday.

Today I'm 9 weeks out from surgery and am very happy with my decision to get sleeved. At my highest weight I was 320lbs. That was just last year, February to be exact. At that point I once again decided to go on a diet. I did lose some weight but after talking to one of my co-workers about her surgery, I decided to have the surgery. I found this great website for wls people. They have a ton of recipes for us. It's called bariatric eating.com. Anybody looking for new ways to fix your food check it out. It has recipes for all stages after surgery.
