Hey Erin, all is good. The first day you are going to be sleeping and walking and ice chips only. I find that I do tire out quicker so just have to build up stamina. One more night here then I'm on my way home! You will met tons of people from all over. I'm hanging out with a mother/daughter from Alaska.

Yes, I agree Peggi is great! You can't help loving her. If I had gone with Wlf it would have been the same week as you and Peggi.

Hi Alice wow Thursday that's awesome!!! I start the full fluids pre=op tomorrow. I didn't lose as much weight in the last 3 weeks as I had hoped but this should help. I think my deciding factor in choosing Dr. Pompa is that there is a Weight Loss Forever facilitator here in Edmonton and she had surgery 2 yrs ago with Dr. Pompa. She also goes down to Mexico to the clinic regularly and that made me feel better. Plus we hit it off like a best friend you haven't seen in a long time. I know that there are surgeons who will do the surgery for $3600 and $4100 (without air fare) but I feel comfortable in the decision I made. I also like that WLF makes all the travel arrangements and I don't need to worry about anything. I am also high risk which means more $$.

Hello Erin, I'm from Edmonton too! I'm leaving on Thursday and having surgery with Dr. Valenzuela.

A girlfriend of mine had her surgery with Dr. Pompas and had a great experience - you will like them I just decided to go with Dr. V after doing a lot of research on 3 doctors (Dr.Pompas was one and another was in Texas/MX) - and she ended up being cheaper too. Keep in touch if you'd like - you're actually having surgery on my birthday!
