I'm soooo glad to hear from you!! And soooo glad that you are doing better. I'm glad that everyone got together for you to figure things out. One of these day's you'll have to fill me in. I'm doing ok. I"ve been in a month long stall! Not losing but not gaining, so that's the positive spin on it. I'm thinking I'll call Karla and talk to her about it. Hey how are you doing? Haven't heard from you in a while.

I'm struggling staying on this puréed diet. I'm SO ready to eat! The protein shakes are good. Don't mind them yet. How are you doing with it? I haven't lost anything since the first week. Kinda frustrating, but I know I'll loose again eventually.

We'll I can tell you it gets better! Everyday you will feel better. I see the dr. Tomorrow for my 1 week follow up. I was so cautious that I just took these ridiculously small sips. I did catch myself drinking too much, like one sip after another. This whole process is 99% mental. Changing my habits is going to be tough. Enjoy that jello!! I can't wait for stage 2! Gas x kinda works. Walking is the best. Dr. Fixed a hiatal hernia for me also. I think that's why I'm having more pain then usual. Stage 1 sucks! Clear liquids is so boring. Lol. Can't wait until I move onto stage 2. I'll see the dr. For a follow up on Friday.
Work does make it more difficult to get to a support group but I'm going to really try, especially in the beginning. The hospital offers them too. I'm so excited for you. Let me know how you're doing afterwards when you can.

Hi, I'm doing well. Have been back at work a week and a half after 3 weeks at home (glad I took the time as it gave me a chance to start on mashed food to see how it went). So far the surgery is the best thing ever and my eating patterns (and what I want to eat) have completely changed for the better! Have lost about 19 kg since starting pre-op (cannot look at Opti-fast again) which I am happy with, just need to start exercising!
Great to see you have a date, December 28 will come around before you know it! Being anxious is normal but once you come out the other side you wonder what you were worrying about.
