    Cathy, Hope your surgery went well and you are recovering nicely. I also had my surgery on 11/12/13 and am now home from the hospital. I have graduated to full fluids and am starting to get in my protein. Also concentrating on my water intake. Take care,

I am 45, married to a wonderful man, have a lovely daughter who is 21 and at university. I have secondary progressive multiple sclerosis and variegate porphyria. I am currently about 19 stone or 266 pounds (my highest ever weight). I hope to lose about 120 pounds, but time will tell.
