I am HATING this full liquid diet. BUT I've lost 13 pounds since surgery! I still have the cravings to binge like CRAZY.. and I hated the surgery at first.. But it just proves why I needed it!
The only pain I have now is the larger incision. It's so annoying. It's not the actual incision it's where the cut the muscle underneath. it just constantly pulls.. and getting up and down is a crap shoot.. because I don't know which movement will trigger the BIG ouch! That's because I

My surgery is Thursday... two days away... I just started my liquid pre-surgery diet today as recommended by my surgeon. Now I'm freaking out thinking about the fact that I'm not going to be able to eat anything... from this point forward... for a WHILE.
I know it's crazy.. and I know it's just pre surgery jitters... but I'm still freaking out!

It's 15 days until my surgery and I'm thinking about the silliest things. Right now I'm fixated on the fact that I'll never be able to gulp down cold water like a thirsty beast! lol
I've never even been a gulper! but now.. knowing I'll be reduced to tiny sips... it's all I can think about!
Don't get me wrong.. I'm not 'worried' or having second thoughts.. or anything like that.. It's just so funny that that's what I'm thinking about.

It's SO HARD to explain to the type of people who say 'well just try harder..no need to get surgery' why I've made this decision. I KNOW that it's only important that I know why.. BUT i feel like if more people understood.. we could have a tiny bit of an easier time... you know...

Scheduling surgery!

So I went in today to schedule my surgery and found out that I have one more lab to take before it's official... but it looks like the end of April.
I'm really starting to think about the possibility of dying. I'm not really doubting having the surgery, but if I were to die... it would be devastating to my fiance and my family... I know that sounds really conceded to say. But it's true. We're all extremely close. I feel like I'm being selfish taking the risk.
