Hi Diane, our situation is almost identical, including our before weight, our closeness is age, and our children all being grown now. I am about 3 weeks post-op and I am so thrilled with my results. I too worried about my husband sacrificing due to my wanting surgery and all that would go along with this change in lifestyle.
