No, they do the sleeve a bigger size than they do in Mexico. The US has all of the regulations to follow. I will say my stomach is really, really small now. It was not the case after my initial sleeve in the US. I never experienced restrictions that I feel now. I was able to eat the same amount of food as before within 3 months. I am only 7 weeks out now. I still have the restriction. I really cannot eat and drink at the same time. I have to wait 30 minutes. Otherwise, I am sick. I did not tell my family I went to Mexico for the resleeve. It was really none of their business. My husband and friend that went with me knew and that was it. It was a decision I made to better my life. My journey is finally leading to the healthy lifestyle I have longed for. Best of luck to you. It's not about being lazy, it is a tool that some of require; especially me.

The resleeve was a success. I feel great and can only eat a small amount of food for the first time ever. My sleeve is long but only approximately 1/2 an inch per the x-rays received and reviewed with my doctor. I have restrictions that I never experienced during my initial sleeve. It was a best decision to have the resleeve done. I have healed and have not experienced any problems. Dr. Almanza did an exceptional job on my sleeve at a fraction of the cost I had to pay for the initial sleeve in the US. I would do it again if I had to... But, I don't think it will be necessary now. Let me know if you have any other questions. Best of luck to you.

Congrats on your progress. How are you coming along. At 2.5 years out, I'm finding the hardest part is maintaining but I continue to work hard. I can now eat more at least a small saucer of food. I have to strive to make good choices. I've worked too hard to get to this point. Just sending you words of encouragement. I tell myself that eating the junk food does not make me nearly as happy as being healthy feels.

Good luck on your journey im sure you have worked real hard too. Best of luck on your success

I walk around 5 hours at day 5 days a week (I am waitress) and 2 or 3 days a week a do taekwondo. But also I watch what in eating. Nothing fried, alot of water or crystal light, nothing after 6 or 7 pm., on my food I eat my protein first , chiken, salmon etc, no red meat for now and like I said pasta n rice just once a week.
Another thing is how fast u are eating. Try to eat the more slow u can don't rush ur body. Maybe when u eating u feel pain but keep going eating, that's is you body saying I'm full...take ur time baby girl... let me know anything ok.. u can do it !!! Don't give up
