Hiatal Hernia repair w/ my surgery...anyone else had this?

So, my surgery is next Friday. (yeah!!) When they did my EGD a few weeks ago, they told me that I have a hiatal hernia. I knew I did because I have the WORST acid reflux at night ever!!! Anyway, they told me that they will repair the hernia a the same time they do my surgery. Just wondering if other people have had this done as well, and was there a lot more pain involved in recovery? Sounds silly, but just one of the little worries(actually to be completely honest, I don't even really know
