Congrats on your progress. How are you coming along. At 2.5 years out, I'm finding the hardest part is maintaining but I continue to work hard. I can now eat more at least a small saucer of food. I have to strive to make good choices. I've worked too hard to get to this point. Just sending you words of encouragement. I tell myself that eating the junk food does not make me nearly as happy as being healthy feels.

Hello. My sister had surgery with Dr. Ortiz in May. She had done research and that is who she chose, I am not exactly sure what made her final decision for her. I have met Dr. Ortiz and I was very impressed by his beside manner, and when he came to the hotel to check on my sister, he spent considerable time with both of us answering as many of my questions as my sister. I think any of the doctors mentioned by the people in these forums are as good as the others, you just have to do your research, and you will know who is best for you. My sister had good luck with Dr. Ortiz and A Lighter Me!
