not enough

I just saw my NUT. yesterday. She said to have 1/4 cup meals 6 times a day (pureed). I had two meals and to be honest I felt more full on the shakes. Today I read in my paperwork that 1/2 cup is recommended, so I tried 1/2 cup of cream of wheat. OH MY GOSH it was so good and it really filled me up. Now do I tell my NUT. this and the other thing is... is it alright or will i not lose weight. Any thoughts on this?
