Biography:

I am married to a wonderful man and have two amazing teen boys! I have struggled with my weight since childhood and decided to join my husband in the gastric sleeve club (he had his 4/09/2008, lost over 200 lbs and has since had gastric by-pass and is still losing!)

At my first Dr appt I weighed in at 248, the largest I have ever been. I was pre-diabetic and had sleep apnea. My energy level was down and my clothes were getting even tighter. While many aspects of my life were going great, my weight was pulling me down, emotionally and physically.

Since my surgery, I feel great and am looking forward to being able to be more active with my boys and, hopefully, grandchildren in the future!
