I've kept an eye on the forum's, but life has just been so busy.
My wedding is rapidly coming up (7 weeks away), and I had a gall bladder attack over the Easter weekend. I'd never had an attack before and the pain is nothing I've ever experienced before! The pain was so bad I ended up in the emergency room.

I saw the specialist last week, and I'm getting my gall bladder out on Thursday.

Yesterday I had my 1 month post op appointment with my surgeon.

He’s super happy with my progress thus far and is happy for me to go about doing things normally as I’m out of the risk zone. Super good news as now I can do things like weights (and vacuum the house!!)

I gave myself a case of the foamies early last week after eating some egg too quickly and also didn’t chew properly. It was truly awful and something I’d prefer to never experience again! I learnt my lesson.

So today is day 14 post op and I haven't lost weight in pretty much 3 days.
I've lost 7kgs (just over 15 pounds) or so since surgery day.

It's really hard not to think I'm already stalling and I'm not even on a puree diet yet.
I'm having 2 protein shakes per day, some yoghurt and some form of soup at night plus as much water as I can handle. Some days my water intake is better than others.

Today I was allowed home. I honestly didn't think I'd be going home today as yesterday I still wasn't going too great. What a difference a day makes!
I'm feeling pretty good today. Obviously my lap-sites are tender, and certain positions are uncomfortable, but I'm feeling mentally and physically better then I did this time yesterday!

Tomorrow is sleeve day. Yay!

I have to be at the hospital at 9:30am and hope I don't have to wait too long before going in for surgery.
Hopefully the nerves won't kick in too badly tomorrow!

My wonderful fiance is taking me to the hospital and will be with me every step of the way. Thank god for him!
