Happy New Year! It's been a long while since I've participated in the Forum Discussions. I'm praying all is well with those brave individuals who has chosen to travel this Journey of a Healthy Lifestyle. It's been 7 years since my surgery and I have not regret my decision.

I have found myself within the last year putting weigh back on. My Journey up to this point has been such a blessing in so many ways and I don't want to continue to revert back to my old lifestyle. I know one of my biggest problem has been lack of exercising. I hurt my back and knee and have found it very hard to get back on track with exercising. My next issue is finding new ways to enjoy the food in which I can eat.

Looking forward to hearing your advise and success stories. I am a believer of each one, teach one.

Praying all is doing well while on the journey. I know with God and a willingness on our part, He will give you the spirit to achieve and exceed our goals. I am excited regarding how this process has worked out positively for me. I've lost sixty nine pounds.

Words of Encouragement: Take one day at a time and make each day a day filled with loving yourself and learning new things to do and stay the course no matter what. Stay positive and keep away from the negative people/things that discourage you from achieving your goals.

The next hurdle I will have to climb will be Easter, the traditional meals. Until then, I wish all great success. May Gods love guide you in to great success.

Thank God from which all blessing come from. It's been Two months and Seven days since my surgery and I have been blessed in so many ways by my decision to be sleeved. Praying that all has had success in achieve their goals towards a healthy lifestyle.

Good Morning To All,

God is Awesome. He has brought me through and I have no complaints. My surgery went well and I am home recovering. I was somewhat surprised that I didn't have as much pain as I had expected. A little sore, some gas, a little nausea, but no serve pain. I would like to Thank each of you for your support, prayers and encouragement.

It is comforting to know that you have support from those who truly understand the road in which you have chosen to travel. Continue to keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I am praying that you continue on the road to success and that 2014 will be a year filled with blessing for you and your family.

Again, Thank you for your support. I'll keep you guys abreast of my progress.

It's been a while since my last post. Hope all is doing well on their journey. I have some great news. My surgery is scheduled for Monday, December 23rd. I am excited and yet somewhat nervous. Trying to stay positive and focused.

Kay, I'm doing great thanks for checking on me!!! Haven't been on here in awhile. I went back to work last week a week early. I'm feeling great! On puréed phase & getting almost all my 64oz of fluids in a day. Hope you're doing well too! Keep me posted in your progress! Take care. & ttys!

Start my new job Monday-yay!!!!!!!!!!!! Haven't had any tummy issues or reflux in a week now (praying it stays that way) I swear I think part of it was stress. I took yesterday and today for ME, in preparation for the new job and moving in November to Baltimore. It's been very nice. Eating is getting better for me, just only a little bit at a time, but I'm getting in most of my protein, some days I go over my protein amount, so that is really good. Thanks for checking and good luck....won't be long now.

Kay, I wanted to let you know that I received a called with the results of the stress test and everything was normal. I know when God is in it there is NO LIMITS!! Praising God and thanking him in advance. God bless you. I will be in touch.

Hello Kay, I want to say thank you for staying in contact with me. Here is an update...on yesterday i went and had my stress test, and everything was good now I have an appointment with my primary care doctor on Monday evening and i should get my clearance next week and schedule with my surgeon in a week and with all our prayers hopefully i can schedule my surgery day on 11/4 or 11/5. How are you doing? Hope all is well and you're on your desired path in life. Well, I'm almost there. Had my last medical test today, and have a scheduled appointment with the surgeon and the NUT next Wednesday... when I leave them, I should have a surgery date..well at least I hope so.
