  1. Good Afternoon,

Happy New Year! It's been a long while since I've participated in the Forum Discussions. I'm praying all is well with those brave individuals who has chosen to travel this Journey of a Healthy Lifestyle. It's been 7 years since my surgery and I have not regret my decision.

I have found myself within the last year putting weigh back on. My Journey up to this point has been such a blessing in so many ways and I don't want to continue to revert back to my old lifestyle. I know one of my biggest problem has been lack of exercising. I hurt my back and knee and have found it very hard to get back on track with exercising. My next issue is finding new ways to enjoy the food in which I can eat.

Looking forward to hearing your advise and success stories. I am a believer of each one, teach one.

    Blessing to all.

  2. Good Evening,

Praying all is doing well while on the journey. I know with God and a willingness on our part, He will give you the spirit to achieve and exceed our goals. I am excited regarding how this process has worked out positively for me. I've lost sixty nine pounds.

Words of Encouragement: Take one day at a time and make each day a day filled with loving yourself and learning new things to do and stay the course no matter what. Stay positive and keep away from the negative people/things that discourage you from achieving your goals.

The next hurdle I will have to climb will be Easter, the traditional meals. Until then, I wish all great success. May Gods love guide you in to great success.

  3. Good Evening To All,

Thank God from which all blessing come from. It's been Two months and Seven days since my surgery and I have been blessed in so many ways by my decision to be sleeved. Praying that all has had success in achieve their goals towards a healthy lifestyle.

    Blessings to all.

Start my new job Monday-yay!!!!!!!!!!!! Haven't had any tummy issues or reflux in a week now (praying it stays that way) I swear I think part of it was stress. I took yesterday and today for ME, in preparation for the new job and moving in November to Baltimore. It's been very nice. Eating is getting better for me, just only a little bit at a time, but I'm getting in most of my protein, some days I go over my protein amount, so that is really good. Thanks for checking and good luck....won't be long now.

by KayCeeBee on 01-01-2014 at 02:46 AM
Good Morning,

May this upcoming year be a blessing to all. Yesterday, was my 1 week visit with Dr. Noyan after surgery.

All went well with my appointment, was surprised at how much weight I had lost in a week. Eighteen pounds (18 lbs). Mind blowing. Never thought I would lose that much.

I am please at how my journey has started and I pray that it will get easier as I move forward.

Continue to be encouraged and stay focused. You are

Time Stands Still For..................

Good Afternoon To All,

Fall has descended upon us (those of us that live on the East Coast), the air is crisp, the leaves are changing and Fall is considered a time for Harvest/Celebration.

As my thoughts pondered upon Fall, I realized how time has quickly come and gone since I've made the decision to travel this Journey and become a member on the "Sleeved" side of life.

So many of you have joined the "Sleeved" side of life. Look

Good Afternoon,

Praying all are well and blessed. Just wanted to share with everyone how blessed we all are in finding this site to share and encourage one another as we all walk the journey to the "New You".

I've been encouraged by many of the postings and I pray that my postings are an encouragement to you as well.

Now that I have decided to become a Sleever, I've been preparing myself mentally, emotionally and physically for my upcoming

Good Day, Yet Sad

by KayCeeBee on 09-09-2013 at 06:40 PM
I received some bad news today regarding a co-worker who had pass. I was thinking how young he was and how important it was to be happy and healthy. I came home changed in to my work out clothes and walked on the treadmill 75 mins. (2.0 mph, 2.18 miles, 274 calories burned). I felt great. I have not walked virgoriously like that in Months.

We don't always understand why things happen in the manner in which they do. All we can do is appreciate the time we are give and make the
