Well my surgery was on September 6th and other than a few medication issues it went smoothly since. I am down 40 pounds total and off 90% of my medications. I am transitioning from pureed to regular diet. I was a little down the week as I hit a plateau and didn't lose at all this week. So this morning I decided to try on my old clothes in my closet. I had my surgery on Friday and I feel great last night I had minor discomfort but haven't looked back since. I can drink the required amounts without any issues. If I had to say something I have a littlte of the air left inside but it is more of an annoyance that anything else. Tha k you everyone whk answered my questions prior to the surgery. I will still say the worst part of the process is the preop diet.

My surgery is tomorrow, is it normal to have last minute second thoughts? The other question is there seems to be widely varying post op diets. My doctor has my on one week of clears, week 2 is shakes and other liquids, 3-4 pureed food. Where my neighbor who is 3 months post op was give pureed foods at the 4 day mark. Is there any truly right diet?
