Well everyone, I had my gastric sleeve on August 26th and I'm doing really well. I was a little sore after the surgery but that is to be expected. I've healed nicely. I get tired easily but my family helps me more than I can say. I'm in the puree phase of the diet which I find extremely difficult. My basic meals everyday are purred chicken or chicken salad. I've found that I forgo the puree and just take small bites of regular food (healthy) and just chew chew chew. My biggest problem is taken one of the daily medicines that I have to take everyday. My doctor wants me to crush my vitamins for 6 months. Ummm, that's not going to happen. I take Wellbutrin and if anyone of you take that too and have to crush your meds then you know how HORRIBLE Wellbutrin tastes. I struggle everyday to take that med. Some days I go without which I know is not the thing I should do. That just goes to show how horrible it is. The only thing that works is crushing it and putting it in chocolate pudding. I was curioius, how do you take your medicine? My doctors partner lets his patients cut them small and just take them with water or whatever as normal. Can anybody give me some advice.
