5 Weeks Post Op

I had my surgery on 1/28/2014. So far I have lost 28lbs. There have been some ups and downs. I am starting to see a difference in my body and that makes me very happy. The biggest problem right now is that a lot of people don't really understand how much life changes after getting the sleeve. Everyone tries to give me advice on what they think I should be doing or how many calories I should be eating based on what a "normal" stomach can handle. It is frustrating to have to explain everything

I finally finished my 4 months of "medically supervised weight loss" appointments. My surgery date is 1/28. I am very nervous but excited. I have been hoping to get WLS for 7 years now. I can't believe it is actually happening!

Hi everyone! I'm Brittany. I am 28 years old and I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have been considering bariatric surgery for 6 years now but none of my previous insurances would cover it. I recently found out my new insurance may cover it so I went to a seminar with a surgeon today and scheduled a consultation. I am very nervous but excited! I am most worried about the hoops you have to jump through to get the insurance company to cover it. I am so glad that my surgeon's office is willing to do most
