    Hi Kate, Best of luck with your surgery. I have not been given a time yet, hopefully I get to sleep in after all I am on holidays. I guess the best thing is you will go back to sleep. I can't wait to wake up and not be hungry, has been a tough 2 weeks and I am sick of optfast soup.

    Oh, I don't go IN at 7:15 -- my surgery is at 7:15. I have to be at the bloody hospital at 5:15! This is about an hour after the time I am usually going to bed! LOL

    Hi Kate, I have to be at the hospital at 6am at the moment but they will confirm Monday. Excited and a bit scared of the recovery time with my kids. Best wishes for all to have success in our new lives.

    Right on Kate!!! Thanks so much mate It's funny that you mentioned how early you have to go in.. just got a call yesterday that I'm rescheduled and need to check in at 6am!! OMG!!! It was initially scheduled for 9 so yeah, can't do much on July 4th. Good thinkg I intend on showing up in my pajamas huh? I'm sending you a personal friend request. If you dont mind, let's share our journeys together every step of the way and keep one another in check. Lol! We will be talking soon.. 3 more days Yayyyy!!!!

I’m a Mom, homeschooling teacher, seamstress (including machine embroidery), blogger, tweeter, web page designer, web site administrator, published writer, Senior SGM/CE for Simutronics Corp., graphic design and desktop publisher. I am also a grandma, Christian, Conservative Libertarian, former USAF brat, proud Zionist and patriotic American.

My heritage is Scottish, Irish, Welsh on my Mom’s side and Cherokee, English, German on my Dad’s side. I am the eldest of four children. I have four living children and one deceased child. I also have four grandchildren.

I am homeschooling my youngest daughter (Missy, 16) who takes both To-Shin Do (Ninjutsu) and dance lessons. She is a competitive Irish Dancer, which makes me a Feis Mom. As such, I am also a hairdresser, makeup artist, costume designer/creator, fashion consultant, wardrobe coordinator, travel coordinator, chauffeur, travel companion, pep squad, critic, confidante and psychologist.
