    Hi - so far, so good. He's a little difficult to warm up to, but he's an amazing surgeon. How long ago was your surgery? I'm 24 hrs out of the hospital and feeling pretty good.

    I just stuck to the 2 week pre-op diet that my nutritionist gave me which was a protein shake at 7AM, 11AM and at 3pm I did a cup of greek yogourt or a small piece of fruit and at 7pm 4 ounces of chicken or 6 ounces of fish and 2 cups of steamed vegetables. And making sure I got my 64 ounces of water or crystal light. Make sure your protein shakes has between 20-30 grams of protein.

    Welcome to the site. Glad to see another Marylander here. I'm from Frederick and starting my pre-op diet today. If you have any suggestions or tips to help me drop 20 lbs like you did, please please let me know.
