Hi All, I am also from Florida and scheduled for sleeve August 28th, Dr Shillingford in Boca Raton. I live in Orlando but am traveling for the porcedure for financial reasons. I am so excited and alittle nervous, but this forum gives me lots of assurance and support. It is so valuable to have the insight from those who are taking the same journey.

Howdy right back at ya! Yes, it is nice to see other Floridians on the board, esp ones so close. I live in Orlando , specifically the LBV, MetroWest and Winter Garden areas. Now, I'm down the road on I-4 in Polk County!

I sure have and had my appendex removed so im Set! lol, I heard allot of people end up having complications and have gall bladder removed after surgery so im lucky that i had all that removed already! Yeah counting down the days now for my surgery..Yeah just follow my blog will be positing right after surgery how I feel and how it went so close 11 more days...

Aquajog....hang there. I could see how that would be disappointing your body will soon catch up....I've heard that sometimes the body thinks it's starving and holds on to the weight until it adjusts...perhaps that's what is going on. As long as the scale is going down, that's all that matters!

OMG....I lived right next eagle ridge mall for about 3 years and in Davenport for 5 years. We moved to the UCF area in January. I don't have a date for the surgery yet but I am keeping my fingers crossed for July.

I am from close to the Lake Wales area.. So equal distance to Tampa and Dr Kim. I really do like him but have heard some good things about some Tampa doctors.
I am 4 weeks post op and physically doing well . Dr. is pleased with my weight loss but , I thought it would be more...averaging 2 -3 lb a week.. Do you have a date yet. What area are you from?

Thank you so much for your support. I have been home since the day after surgery. Feeling good... sore, but good..the first few days were fill with a sick feeling, but that has pasted. Looking forward to the future!
