Food comes back up into back of throat - Need Advice from the Vets!

Hi - 4-1/2 weeks out. My main problem is that, even with small bites and taking time, the pressure in my sleeve seems to make some of my food come back up - not throwing up, and not into my mouth, but just in the back of my throat. Sometimes all the food doesn't make it down when I swallow, either, so it constantly feels like there's food stuck in my throat. Pressure is like the feeling of having to burp, but if I try to do that, I get food into my mouth again. This also happens with liquids

Ate too much.....broth!! And a question on food quantity.

Another lesson in the journey. I'm 11 days past surgery, and have put myself on small amounts of soft food. But sometimes that hurts going down (why?) so I back off to soup. Last night I went out to dinner with my husband for the 1st time since surgery; went to an Asian place where the chicken-coconut soup is delish. Was happily sipping just the broth, some water with lemon, and 1 piece of soft sashimi...but I guess I just kept sipping and sipping, without thought to quantity. At any rate,
