I started my liquid diet on April 1st weighing in at 256lbs. Had surgery on April 8th and I will say it is the best decision I could have made. I feel great! So I'm about 9 weeks post-op and wondering if anyone can tell me if they've eaten sushi after surgery and what was your experience like? I've been craving it since it's been over 3 months since I've had any and it's one of my favorites.

So I was officially 7 weeks post-op as of yesterday. I'm feeling great and I'm down exactly 45 lbs as of this morning! I have absolutely no regrets and I haven't really come across any foods that don't agree with me. Everything has gone smoothly. I will say that I'm not necessarily morning eating, but I think I miss the convenience of running through the drive through or whatever and grabbing some food. This is day 4 post op for me and I'm still having a lot of pain on the left side of my abdomen close to the area where they had my drain in the hospital. Is it normal to still be hurting pretty bad on that side after 4 days? Even with pain meds it still hurts, and honestly it's the only thing after surgery that is bothering me. Should I be concerned or is it normal?
