Is this really happening?!?!

Well I'm 22 days post surgery and I'm down 47 lbs from when I started my pre-op diet on Feb 12th. I saw the surgeon today and he said as exciting as it is, I am losing a bit faster than he likes to see. I've been on soft food for a week and am to start solids tomorrow, however Im having a hard time keeping anything down. I have a couple tiny bites and I feel extreme pain between my breasts and have to throw up. Doc wants me to supplement with Ensure HP until i can tolerate food. Ive been weighing
Pre-op Journey

I have a pre-op diet that consists of 5 Ensure HP drinks per day and unlimited water and zero calorie sugar free drinks.
Yesterday was Day 1 and I'm very proud of myself - I did really well and wasn't bitchy like I usually am when on a diet. It was the first time I didn't feel deprived.

I had Gastroscopy today…funny I didn't think I'd need it but the surgeon insisted and does it for all his patients. I had an upper GI (barium swallow) and it was perfectly normal. The more definitive test today showed a hiatial hernia and many stomach polyps that will need to come out…guess the surgery is timely! On Feb 12 I start my 21 day pre-op diet of only 5 ensure drinks/day and surgery is on March 5th. I'm so excited and feel so fortunate to have been chosen for this surgery. I have a

I start my 21 day pre-op diet on Feb12th. I've been instructed to have only 5 Ensure HP drinks per day. I can also have water and any zero calorie drink. That's 1100 calories per day....a WHOLE LOT LESS than what I'm used to - even now when I'm eating properly and measuring!
Any tips on how to manage this so I don't turn into a Monster Wife/Mommy?
