Biography:

Hello All,

Just wanted to drop a quick intro. I was sleeved on 7/16/2013 at 281lbs. With the exception of a few years in my 20's, I have always been on the chunky side. After my daughter's birth I really just didn't care. I ate fast food all day long, didn't do a lick of exercise and before I knew it, I was almost 300lbs and avoiding all things that left a reflection. I finally decided to make a change and have the surgery.

The first few months were hard. I regretted the surgery daily and found myself a little down. I couldn't eat and when I did I threw it all up and prayed for the days, weeks, months to fly by. I didn't start feeling better until recently at about 15 weeks out when I could actually keep food down.

Anyway, I've lost a total of 81lbs since the day of my surgery (in 20 weeks) and I am very happy but of course, it's a struggle. I'm about 40lbs from my goal but I'm thinking I may cut that a little as I don't want to be too skinny. Wow, never thought I'd even be considering being TOO SKINNY smdh.
