    August 2013 Sleevers: I wanted to announce that today I reached ♫ ♪ ♥♥ ♪ ♫ 125 pounds Size 6. ♫ ♪ ♥♥ ♪ ♫

Well a little over a month out from surgery, and I'm 49 pounds lighter. My belt size has gone from a very tight 50 to now a 46 and thats even loose. Not hungry or feeling loss of energy at all. My fridge is stocked with V8, light yogurt and sugar free popsicles. Stitches.. Well the main one that had the drain hole looks like its indented. The others are flush with the skin. Sometimes I over eat or don't chew my food enough and thats when I feel the gas and pressure. I hate that feeling, but I blame myself for not being careful. I'm on solid foods now, just eat the meat first, a few bites and then just pick pick pick. Overall the transformation is starting. Lots of more work to do. For exercise, I'm still just walking for 1-2 times a day for a 1/2 hour.

At first, for a few days after the surgery, I said I wouldn't wish this surgery on anybody, but now I'm gad I went through with it. I guess the fear of the future kind of gets to you, but your body is an amazing recovery machine. Feed it right and it will do the work for you,
    God Bless!

  5. Hello Kellie:

I fly in on Sunday from San Jose. I get in at 3:30. My shuttle pick up is at 7pm. I count at least six of us that are going to Dr. Almanza on the 19th. It seems they have this procedure down.

No turning ack now. excited and looking forward to it. I've been on the 10 day diet. Pretty much just drinking crystal light and water, some ale vera juice and I am doing one protein shake a day. At first it was hard thinking about food and then all those food channels on TV. Its gotten easier adn now I'm proud of myself ffor having the will to not eat. This is just the first part of the journey.
  6. Ill be using Dr.Almanza on the 19th also. What time do you fly in?
