I was sleeved on 8/1/2013. I have only loss 20 lbs. does this average. I am constantly constipated. I am only 5 weeks post op and have to take something if I wan to move my bowels. This is so frustrating. I know that it due to the high levels of protein. Any advice. I am not liking my sleeve so much.

I am 6 days post op. my stomach is still sore especially if I turn on my side . I get a wave of pains...some dull, some burning, some sharp. I have had very little gas and have not made a bowel movement since july 27. Please share if this is common or uncommon and advice is welcomed.

Is there anyone out there who was able to return to a desk job two weeks post op. if so how did you feel?

My sleeve date is 8/1. I have been hearing horror stories about gas but mainly from gastric bypass recipients more so then gastric sleever. Please enlighten me all sleevers as to whether or not this is a real problem. My concerns are as follows: Will I have to make a mad dash to the bathroom every time I eat? Will I have to be mindful of accidents more so than not. I need to be prepared if this is going to be a way of life and would also like to know ifmitmcan be prevented.

Is there anyone out there who can tell me if they resumes work before the six weeks allotted. I need to go back to work in two weeks. Is this reasonable. I have a desk job.
