Biography:

I am 48 yrs old, single mother of a 7 yr old, my pride and joy and the reason I'm doing this. I also have a 23 yr old, yeah I know.
I have struggled with my weight since I had my 23 yr old. I gained 88 lbs while pregnant and lost and gained, dieted, tried pills, exercised (which I actually enjoy) thorughtout the years but now I'm the my highest weight ever, 230 at 5'1" (43 BMI) aagghh.
The reason I've decided to have the SG it's because of my little one, he gave me a note a couple of months ago (as he often does) that read "mom, you are the best ever than anyone. I understand you are fat but I still love you even when you're fat. I can't wait until you are skinny. You are nice and beautiful" So, you see I can't let him down. I need this weight off so I don't have any more foot pain and knee pain, so I can exercise & do things with him. So he can grow up and be healthy and active.
My baby, I love him so much.
Not many people know about my surgery and I'm going to keep it that way. My close family (mom and sisters) and my BFF know and are supportive, thank God.
I'm nervios but excited at the same time.
Can't wait to be active again!
