Great job on the loss - it is fun isn't it? I still have so many clothes that fit - of course some are starting to get looser - but I can't wait until they are all too big and I have nothing left that fits . Christmas (and now the new year) was wonderful and I am like you - the first time I have ever lost. Have you been to see Tracy yet? I had an appt with her on Dec. 30 - got over there and they said she is out this week - and for sound reason no one called me. I was so irritated. Now I don't see her until the 17th - ugh. Keep in touch and Happy New Year !

I am ok. That is so funny that you said you are craving real food - for some reason today I have been hungry. I don't think it is true hunger - but maybe more the head hunger everyone has talked about. I am hoping that the Bariatric advantage shakes that we start tomorrow taste good and are a little more filling. Hope you continue to have great success !

Thanks everyone. Im doing well. Not in alot of pain, just tired. Trying to consume all of this protien isnt easy! Sip sip sip! Not too much walking today, it has been raining most of the day. I did a few laps down stairs and went up and down the stairs a few time. I havent been nauseous much, but I am craving real foods. I just keep reminding myself that soon I will be able to eat normal foods.

had my surgery on the 15th too- hope you're doing okay-keep us updated, and take care of yourself!

Thanks! we will be fine. I have to be there around 6:15ish. I'm really excited it got bumped up because I was afraid I would be starving by 2:30! lol I think we will go home because they said people normally go home the same day if you have a morning surgery. Im not going to bring overnight stuff. If I have to stay I will just send my husband home. haha did you get the pill for before the surgery? I think my insurance covered some of it because it was only $40.00 at kroger.

Wow - that is great. I am at 10:15 - so now you will be first. I am sending you nothing but well wishes !!! I have to arrive at 7:45, what time do you have to get there? I am so curious to see if we will be admitted or released as outpatient. I really haven't read of anyone on this forum as an outpatient, have you? But then, I haven't heard of anyone else not having the leak test during surgery. I think that is really neat that we won't be awake for the dealing with that. Good luck to us both

Sorry for the delayed response -- I have been in Cashiers, NC this week - and we lost WIFI for a couple of days -- UGH. It was a very nice - pre surgery time. Well -- because of everything that has been going on around here - mtns, late nights of my husband working, etc. I didn't really have a meal -- but I did go to Krispy Kreme tonight and donuts were my dinner. I am so sick to my stomach now I can't stand it. Tomorrow really starts our journey, huh? I am excited and nervous now. Nervous for the days immediately following the surgery -- but excited for the months to follow !!! I hope you have a good day tomorrow - and maybe I will see you walking the halls on Friday -- assuming we get to stay overnight, I really don't know what to expect. Best of luck to you if I don't "talk" to you before our big day !!!
