I started my pre-op diet the day after my son left to his first duty station in the Air Force. I haven't seen him in person since the surgery. It will be exactly 7 months and over 80lbs lost when I see him in person again (2/1/14). We've skyped and he's seen pics, but I'm so excited for him to physically see the changes in me... heck, maybe we'll even work out together! I can't wait to take new pics of us together... i'm actually enjoying taking pics instead of running from the camera now!
I started losing hair around 2 month mark, at the 3rd month it started coming out like crazy.. but it's also the time when my head has begun to itch! I've read up on the hair loss and take my biotin, etc....
I'm wondering.. is it new growth that is making my head itch? I know I don't have lice.. eww and pretty sure I don't have dandruff.. anyone else experience this?
it also looks like I have some baby hairs too.
i am over the moon happy!!! For the first time in years my blood sugars and A1C levels are in the normal range AND cholesterol and triglycerides are all fine!! I'm so happy and excited to find out how much my sleeve is saving my life!
I'm gaining more and more confidence each day..Yesterday I actually danced in front of a club of people (just me and the guy that asked).. i never would have done that before. I usually need the dance floor to be packed and not be noticed.
First flight this year (Texas at end of Feb), needed the dreaded seat belt extenders...
Second flight this year (MX for my sleeve surgery July 1st), didn't need the extender going down there but did coming back
Third flight this year (South Dakota for family wedding), didn't need the extender all portions of the flight!!!! I was so happy!!! It was still snug, but I felt so much comfortable in my seat!
I'm down 43 lbs even with an approx 3 week stall.
First week I had a ton of energy... now I have none! Last couple weeks, I've been so tired and not wanting to do anything. I thought maybe it was because first week being back to work, but this week is the same thing. I want to start walking but just want to crawl in bed when I get home.. plus, my left side is still very sore. Might be from lifting too much the other day along with just plain still healing. So I want to take it easy and heal, but need more energy.
Anyone else
