The slow losing rate is frustrating. I was afraid to eat in fear I would gain a pound and little did I know I did on a day I only took in 180 calories. I'm trying to eat/drink more and get at least 300-400 calories but it is so difficult. I've only lost a total of 11 lbs in 3 weeks. I haven't lost anything in a week. My recovery was great, no pain, no problems. Thanks for messaging me.

I understand what you are going through. I am not losing either. Everyone says that at 2-3 weeks you hit a plato. Don't be discouraged, it will pass. This is a long process. Just keep with the diet no matter what and when your body adjusts to the small portions, protein, and less sugar you will begin losing. We are just slow losers but this is not uncommon. Hang in there. The liquid diet was a little difficult. It has taken me 3 weeks to find my favorite soups and shakes. My brain want to eat but my body wont let me.

Wanted to say HI! I went to Mexico also and had my surgery on 7/25. I started with a low BMI also and thought we could help encourage each other. It is hard to find people in a similar weight category and I think we can have a tendency to lose slower since we have less to lose. I had a stall at 2 1/2- 3 weeks and didn't lose a pound for at least a week!!! I started losing again this week but I will be at 4 weeks on Thursday. Hope your recovery is going well and talk to you soon.
