Thanks so much for your comments, much appreciated. I did this to get healthier and never realized how different I would look. In some ways I regret missing out on how good I look now but I realize I just have to enjoy it now that I have it because my looks could go away tomorrow and my inside has always been beautiful. I wish you much peace, love and success on your sleeve journey.

Hey! Thanks for the message. I read all of your posts and saw today's about not losing yet. I have a feeling that since your hands are swollen you may be peeing like crazy soon and in a weeks time may drop 7 pounds or so, who knows! I know those Iv fluids Desirable upstairs office space on Spring street!! me to Gain weight after a 7 lb baby and whatever fluid from the amniotic sac...so that has to tell you something!!! You'll probably lose like crazy soon.

I found out my charts went through medical review last week and will be sent to insurance on Thursday . I'm curious to know how long that takes!! Getting very nervous and feeling a bit unprepared

Hi There, the first four days was a nightmare! The gas pain is horrid, but if I had to do it again i would. I am sore on my left side six days out but that is about it. So I got on the scales today and gained a pound since surgery. I haven't even eaten anything, everyone says it's fluids from hospital, constipation, I'm not drinking enough liquids, etc. So that was a MAJOR bummer. I am still swollen though, my hands look like sausages, I can't get my rings on so maybe it is fluid retention.

I have had no issues getting fluids down, I drink normally, sipping isn't something I have had to do. I drink a glass of skim milk in 30 minutes while others may take hours. so I'm not sure what is up, but considering my self lucky I guess. I'm trying not to make any judgments for a couple of more weeks.

How are you, where are you at in this process? Now I weigh 234. darn it I guess I will go back to my doc Friday as gaining a pound. LMAO

Thank You! I really appreciate it! I've been bummed all day still. lol I wish those pics were never taken ever! Oh well it is what it is! About to have my last meal as unsleeved. Pizza. Go figure! I've set a goal to lose 16 pounds in the first month starting tomorrow with the liquid diet. 15 pounds is a start to 110! seems daunting. sorry usually I am more positive than this! I hope you get approved, depending on insurance it can go very quick!

Yes, I'm very pleased! My only regret is not doing it years ago. My hunger has been tamed! I love it!

Yes that would be great! I had my appointment today for labs, nutrition consult, etc. have you been pretty pleased with your surgery and new changes!
