Hello Don Im still alive just super busy with my radio show google Our Skinny Dream with Judy and Staci....we have 7shows up now take a listen and tell me what you think!
    How are you doing?
  4. Doctor is thinking 180-185 and I tend to agree. Learning that I will have a body transformation to a runner swimmer more than the muscular body I had years ago. I carry all my weight in face chest and stomach. Now without the stomach I will just need chest job and hope face just bounces back LOL. Many people in the past I looked best at 230 -240 I will go much lower than that I know.

    Hi Donn:
Wishing you all the best with your surgery. I'm almost 2 weeks out & what they say is true...each day gets better. It's kinda funny, but my weight was the same as you & Riverdude. We could've joined the Bears or Patriots. Best wishes & talk to you on the sleeved side. Roberta

Hey Donn, Just seen you on one of the forums and noticed that we shared about the same start weight and goal weight. Just wanted to introduce myself and congratulate you on your upcoming surgery. I have had a few ups and downs with this, but overall I have lost 62 pounds in 8 weeks. If you ever have any questions feel free to ask away! Stephen

by donn on 09-26-2013 at 02:22 PM
Well Three months ago today I had VGS and I am SO GLAD I did. If you are reading this and wondering if you should the answer is YES if you 1. Want a Better LIFE!! 2. Feel Better about YOURSELF 3. Tired of Yo Yo dieting.

This is not for you if 1. You think it will be easy. 2. You are looking for a quick fix. 3. You have not overcome your eating addiction, Most of us have an eating addiction you must acknowledge the addiction and be at peace with not eating the foods that made us

Restaurant Eating

by donn on 08-17-2013 at 12:50 PM
I am now 7 weeks post op and here is my story.. I looked for a the corporate site. But this is a great start. Last night my family visited the Chili's in Glendora CA. What a wonderful experience it became from a very rough start. Knowing that this location is very busy and remembering that they have call ahead reservations we called ahead. We arrived at the resturant right at 645 pm like we were told by the employee that answered the phone. We checked in and were told it would be a 20-30 min wait.

The Last Supper - My Thoughts to all those ready to start the Pre-Op Diet

by donn on 08-09-2013 at 11:56 AM
I See so many posts about the pre op diet and headaches and feeling hungry and worried that you cant do it.

What helped me was I knew this was going to be a problem so I started slowly removing foods from my diet 10 days prior and allowed my body to get ready for this. If you get less notice than use the days prior to remove the fatty foods and caffine from your system. Smaller more frequent meals and this gives you an opportunity to taste some shakes and other approved post op treats.
