Sounds like you are doing great guns with your weight .. Mine has stood still for a few days but hey that's just how my body is... Hoping it will sort itself out soon ... Take care and speak soon

Lee thank you the encouraging report. It sounds like you are doing wonderful. What a great feeling it must be. I have tried a number of different shakes and have time for more.:-) Premier is actually next on my list. August 5th is rushing toward me like a train and I can't wait to catch it.

Thank you everybody for the good wishes. I am doing fantastic. I feel great and been losing about 2 pounds a day. I am into regular clothes instead of sweats and bathing suits. I am wearing a pair of jean shorts I haven't worn in a long time and they are falling off me!!! It has been a bit stressful lately. My partner, Charlie, his grandmother took a serious fall on Sunday and has been in the hospital since then. She broke her left hip and sprained her left wrist. I have been there everyday. I absolutely adore her. The hospital she is in sucks big time. I hate it, but it is all we have close by. Things will calm down, but physically I have more energy than I have ever had. Never had any gas pains. Best decision I have ever made was to have the gastric sleeve.

Lee, I hope things are going great! My surgery is to be August 5th and I'm so excited. Tell me how this gas went. All as expected? Any big surprises?

wish you blessed success, for the first few week I lived on propel water zero and vitamin water zero and plain water and soup, no pain ever, loving life now even better.

Hey Lee hows things going? Hope you are both doing OK? I managed to post up 2 before pictures the one on the right was 220 just before surgery and now i am 211 so lost 18 pounds so far..Monday i start soft food. :-) really looking forward to that! Heather

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is doing well and are in good spirits. I am feeling great and I am so happy that I had this surgery. The only things that bothered me since the surgery, actually only 2 things, happened in the hospital. They put a foley catheter in while I was knocked out in surgery. This was great and I already knew about it. They took the catheter out the morning after the surgery. No problem. Then they kept pushing for me to pee. It wasn't happening. The night nurse said if I didn't pee, and an adequate amount they were going to have to put the foley back in. I said over my dead body. If they want to knock me out or give me serious drugs, it was not going to happen. I don't know about you gals out there, but most guys including myself, hate the suckers with a passion. Finally, 3:00am it worked. They had been in my room all night and did a bladder scan. Well with all the fluids that they were pumping me full of, of course there was fluid. They were happy and I was happy. they still came in the room all night long for everything else!!! The other thing I wasn't fond of and wasn't prepared for was when they took out the drainage tube. It hurt like hell. They told me to take in a deep breath and I did, but woah!!!! Pain. That was the worst, so really wasn't that bad. Walking, walking and more walking is really your friend. I had no gas pains at all. Hope you all do as well.

Hey Lee where are you? How has it gone? I hope you are doing ok? Lets swap notes soon...I came out of hospital yesterday. They kept me in another day but only because I had a nasty journey home and I didn't want to be ill on the way home. Make sure you walk to get rid of the gas and keep hydrated...it's constant!
