    Almost one year out and nearing my goal weight. I wish I had this surgery much sooner!

    I am in the middle of the 6 months required dr supervised diet. This is the second time I have done this. I chickened out the last time and decided to try to lose weight on my own, which I did but nowhere close to my goal. I was considering gastric bypass the last time and then I heard about the sleeve. I'm starting to worry again because to me honest surgery scares me and there's no undoing it! I want to do this on my own but I have a thyroid problem and it just seems I try so hard and the results are minimal. Maybe I have too high of expectations. Lol. I read stories where I'm inspired and some that make me feel that I am able to lose what they lose in a month so I should just try to do it alone. I don't want to fail AGAIN! I'm nervous and confused to be honest! Lol. How about you?
