Hi, No worries, I'm not terribly diligent about checking this either. I was sleeved Sept. 17 and so far I'm down 30 lbs. I think in my head I wanted it to be more, but every lb lost is a good thing. I"m doing really well, feeling like I'm almost back to myself. Still careful in chewing, still sometimes feel that chest pressure. I got sleeved in Tijuana, MX. It went well. Why did you choose Montreal? I have a good friend that just moved to Fort Mac. I've been there, it's a pretty bustling place!

Hi, I noticed on one of your posts that you're a Canadian. I'm from Calgary. How long ago did you have your surgery? How is your post op going? Hope you don't mind a few questions from a fellow Canadian...

Saw your post but not in your group can't answer but on here. After surgery your bm change. Try taking miralax. It's gentle and works. It took about 3 weeks for me to get back to normal. Considering how little I eat things are back to normal ..but I did have a few awkward moments.. And yes i had the cramps and the green apple quick step to the bathroom pushing every one aside in the rush to make it.... Hopefully it will all settle down take care

I had puree spaghetti sauce that was pretty good. I have greek yogurt but I put half a scoop of protein powder in to get the extra protein. I don't do a lot of soup not a fan. I find I can't drink the muscle milk light now its very sweet. I have a struggle getting enough calories in while I am home I am too busy to make the effort to get it in.

If I had kids I would definitely have needed the extra week away. I started back to work and its a struggle. Today extremely tired and missing the caffeine.

What have you been trying to eat?

It was good, just long if I had my time back I would have booked an earlier flight. How did your trip back go? I feel pretty good just tired, it's hard to eat enough, I have a shake in the morning and that keeps me full for the whole day! How is your eating going?

I am a little nervous, I seem to toss and turn and night a little more. I am day three of my pre-op diet and hanging in there, how about you? I too can not believe that July finally got here and it will be happening soon. This time next week I will be picked up at Jet Blue and taken to the hotel. I wont get in until the 7:00 p.m. shuttle so I think I am the last of our group with Dr. Almanza to arrive, but so excited. Please keep me posted and the best of luck to you for a pain free, speedy and full recovery. Remember to walk as soon and as often as you can and to take itty bitty sips constantly!!

Hello, I just wanted to welcome you to our July group. Yeah, your surgery is the exact same day as mine. Wish you were having yours in Mexico too, but at least I will know some people having it done the same day. I am really excited and I have been snooping around this website since January and the time is just dragging. I honestly feel as if July will never get here, which is a huge change for me as our summers ususally fly right by!!
