Congrats on your progress. How are you coming along. At 2.5 years out, I'm finding the hardest part is maintaining but I continue to work hard. I can now eat more at least a small saucer of food. I have to strive to make good choices. I've worked too hard to get to this point. Just sending you words of encouragement. I tell myself that eating the junk food does not make me nearly as happy as being healthy feels.

Good luck on your journey im sure you have worked real hard too. Best of luck on your success

I feel like im losing weigt buy my scale hasn't changed since i was discharged from the hospital so that stressing me out. Hi Dlashe! I'm doing ok which I could say I'm doing GREAT. But as of right now I'm still feeling a lil uneasy. Getting in my liquids and getting rid of this gas is driving me crazy!!! Hopefully it will get better soon. How are you feeling?
  4. Well I was sleeved on August 5th. Surgery went very well; however I had to stay in the hospital an extra day because I couldn't keep liquids down. I had servere nausea. Pain was well controlled by pain ball in my stomacher and pain pump. I really only have pain in one incision and its the one where the stomache was removed. My doc said its Bc she doubled stitched the incision---on the inside and out side. Its hard to find a comfortable sleeping position so its hard to sleep. Sipping is hard....Bc I'm just not hungry. It hurts when it goes down even when I'm sipping. On my first day home I wanted brooth but could only eat very very little. Hurt going down. I only had crystal lite and isopure at the hospital and I couldn't drink the isopure Bc it tasted so sweet. Ill try brooth again today. Starting weight 276. Weight after preop diet 263...weight when I left the hospital yesterday 261. Best of luck to all.
  5. Good Luck today! Positive thoughts and prayers for a beautiful sleeving and speedy recovery!
